I'm a little late posting this but I had to share the holiday card I received from Mrs. Kim. Who is Mrs. Kim you ask? She was my third grade teacher from Lakewood Elementary. YES, you read right, my THIRD GRADE teacher...you do the math! Not only was she my loving teacher back in the 80's, she was also my brother's as well as my cousin's third grade teacher! Through the years, our family has kept in touch, even after her retirement and moving to Chicago. 3 years ago, she even made it to my wedding!
Now I ask, how many of YOU kept in touch with your third grade teacher? THAT is a perfect example of a GREAT MCPS teacher!
My 3rd grade teacher Dr. Zeiler used to pick his zits and inadvertently drop them in his coffee cup. Nice guy but I don't keep in touch....
