Tax Day (sarcastic Yah). After paying some extra cash to Uncle Sam today, I can't help but feel I need to do some good in my community.
Here in Montgomery County, Maryland, all citizens are encouraged to help the community and volunteer, especially with Earth Day coming up this weekend! There are organizations such as the Montgomery County Volunteer Center that helps the general public hook up with nonprofits for year round opportunities. Even MoCo Public School systems require Student Service Learning (SSL) hours to graduate!
