Last year, several businesses closed: Capital One Bank, Pho & Rolls, Cosi, Oro Pomodoro, Tippy's Taco's/Steak Out, Potomac River Running, Carbon, Saigon. This year so far, it's Red Hue. All I can say is, I'm not suprised. I live 5 minutes away from the town square and work IN the town square. How often do I go there for dinner? NEVER. Why?
In my opinion, it's the inconvenient parking: Although all the businesses offer validated parking, no one wants to deal with paying for parking. And lets be honest, where else in Rockville do you have to pay for parking? Besides the metro stations, NO WHERE ELSE. This isn't Bethesda or DC...just sayin.
