2014 Peak Cherry Blossom Dates Announced

According to the National Park Service, this year's peak cherry blossoms are projected to be April 8-12th.  This year's National Cherry Blossom Festival will be held March 20-April 13th with the festival parade to be held April 12th.  Of course these dates only pertain to the cherry blossom trees around the Washington DC tidal basin.  There's always premium cherry blossoms in the suburbs as well.  The suburb cherry blossoms usually bloom earlier than the DC ones.  Check out my previous post about MoCo's popular cherry blossom locations.
