Skyline Drive

This past weekend, my family went to Skyline Drive in Virginia to admire the Fall foliage.  A little past peak foliage but still a great view!

I tried out the new panoramic feature on my iphone 5...not bad.

All in all, the drive was approximately 5 hours including multiple stops to admire the views, a couple calls of nature, and stops for food.  Total it was about 105 miles, but since we went on a Friday, it wasn't too crowded.

We rented out a cabin in Harrisonburg, VA which ended up being a great little getaway.  The cabin owners had this great tradition of displaying rocks that looked like hearts.  They decorated the entire porch w/ little heart rocks!

On Saturday morning, we visited the farmer's market in town.  We got some great homemade goodies including a peach pie and homemade hot chocolate.
