Sushi Holy Grail Revisited

Chinese New Year's Dinner, our entire family celebrated at the Sushi Holy Grail, Yuraku, in Germantown.  I previously wrote about their weekday buffet here in case you were wondering.

Although we had a reservation, we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes to be sat.  BUT BOY WAS IT WORTH IT!

As part of the dinner service, we first wet our appetites with our yummy (FREE) appetizers: steamed egg custard, miso soup, salad, and (Abby's new favorite) salmon head.  Not to be totally racist or anything but it seems that only the Asian customers get the salmon head since others may be utterly terrified by the sight.  No need to fret though because as an alternative, other customers get edamame instead.

Just take a look at this sushi boat beauty!

TOTALLY STUFFED.  I recommend you get there earlier or later in the night to aviod 1+ hour waits. It may look like a hole in the wall un-anchored strip mall but trust me, SO worth it.
