We're going green! Here's a little introduction to the Montgomery County Department of Transportation, namely the bus transit system, Ride On. To be completely honest, the last time I rode on the public bus system around here, I was probably in high school and I actually got in trouble for doing so!
Judging from the MCDOT website, there's been a lot of upgrades! Here are the facts:
- Exact fare is $1.80, includes transfers!
- Track your bus REAL TIME. Mobile apps are also available...whoa...now that's technology.
- Trip Planning Tools are available online AND on Google Maps.
And for the most part, all routes start and end at a metro stop...I'll save the metro blog recap for next time. But for now...
