Zoolights @ the National Zoo

If only Abby was a little bit older, I would take her to the National Zoo for their annual Zoolights exhibit.

Once a year, the zoo decorates the entire park with lit displays for kids.  This year, more than 500,000 environmentally-friendly LED lights transform the Zoo into a winter wonderland!  Lit animal silhouettes, musical light displays, and a new garden scene light sculpture make for a magical experience!  And best yet, it's FREEEEEE (thank you Geico for the sponsorship.)  If you go on Saturday, December 29th, it's Geico Night where you can meet the freakish English-accented Geico Gecko and take home some special gifts, courtesy of Geico.
